Spring has Sprung in Big Bear Lake


The lake is now open for the 2013 Boating and Fishing Season! So pack up your fishing gear, hook up the boat and head to Big Bear Lake for some springtime fun!


As of April 1, 2013 Big Bear Lake officially opened for the 2013 boating and fishing season. Big Bear Lake is 7 miles long and has 22 miles of shoreline. The average depth of our lake is 35 feet and the maximum depth at the dam is just over 72 feet. If you plan to bring your boat to Big Bear Lake just remember that current registration and a boat permit is required for all boats on the lake.
