Music in the Mountains is featuring 3 mini tours or concerts this season; June 29thJuly 20th and August 31st to help celebrate their 20th Anniversary as a non-profit. Free Nature Walks at the Big Bear Discovery Center
30-minute Nature Walks on Saturdays at 1pm and 2 pm and Sundays at 11 am and 12 noon
Learn about the local plant life, wildlife and some very interesting historical facts. This is a great activity for families and individuals who want to gain a greater appreciation for our local mountains. Big Bear The 2013 Big Bear MS Walk

May Trout Classic
The May Trout Classic is Saturday, May 18 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, May 19 from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. with an opportunity to catch a tagged trout worth $10,000. The two day event is open to all ages and skill levels. Entry fee is $65 for adults and free entry for juniors (16 years and younger) with a paid adult. "Cruisin' to Stop Bruising" DOVES Car Show
D.O.V.E.S. of Big Bear presents a classic car show and fundraising event "Cruising' to Stop Bruisin" at the Elks Lodge with cars from Rod Riders of Big Bear, Big Bear Antique Car Club and the Bear Valley Cruisers. The Big Bear Horro-Fi Film Festival at the PAC
Spurred on by the success of its third year, the Big Bear Horro-Fi Film Festival staff is expanding its reach to include the entire Los Angeles basin. The festival will continue to be held in Big Bear Lake at the Performing Arts Center and is moving to May 18-19, 2013, so festival patrons will be able to enjoy scenic Big Bear in the spring.

Big Bear Lake Memorial 5K Fun Run “Wounded Warrior Project”
The Big Bear Lake Memorial 5k Fun Run is set to take place Sunday May 26, 2013 in The Village of Big Bear Lake, CA.
