The Current Snow Report from Bear Mountain Resorts

Another great night of snowmaking last night with snowmaking on everyone's favorite black diamond run, The Wall! With continued snowmaking these runs could be soon. Come enjoy a sunny day on the slopes at Snow Summit and Bear Mountain with 23 available lifts, 33 open runs, and 138 park features all with just one area use ticket. The forecast is amazing all the way through the weekend. So come on up and have some fun on the snow! All roads are open with no chain requirements.

High pressure will bring us fair weather this week as afternoon highs strive to make it back into the lows 50s, while lows plummet into the teens. Little change through the weekend and even into next week as our forecast remains dry.

A WINTER STORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT MONDAY FOR THE SAN BERNARDINO MOUNTAINS

Low pressure will begin to move into the area Sunday with increasing clouds and westerly winds 10-20mph with higher gusts and a slight chance for snow showers. Snow will become more likely Sunday night into Monday and could be heavy at times with blizzard like conditions throughout Monday, with the snow level down to 4,000 feet where around a foot of new snow is expected. This first, in our series of storms will move out Tuesday, the next in our series of storms is expected to arrive Wednesday into Thursday, but could be warmer, with higher snow levels. Highs will only make it into the 30s over the next week as lows cool into the upper teens & 20s. Obviously with rapidly changing weather conditions in the forecast over the next week, stay tuned for further information.
