This weekend's storm left 8 to 10 inches of new snow in it's wake and sunny blue skies are forecast over the next couple of days! Today will be amazing with new snow and sunny blue skies! El Nino has delivered more than 10 feet of snow already this season, and we're set-up for a fun spring on the snow!

Clear skies finishing off this weekend into the first of the week ahead as highs climb back into the 40s as lows dip into the teens. A weak cold front will brush the area Wednesday bringing us a chance of light snowfall, cooler temperatures & gusty winds. Fair Thursday & Friday, then another weak system may affect the area next weekend.

A cold front is expected to sweep through the southland Friday into Saturday bringing us locally, gusty winds, colder temperatures and more snow, where several inches of new snow is expected. Expect a brief break Sunday before another storm arrives by the first of next week.

What: Events for all levels and all ages…

10k
Starts with a sustained climb through the beautiful tree lined trails and returns to Big Bear Village via the same track.

5k
A little climb to start it off and get everyone warmed up, then the trail mellows out for a scenic double-track with beautiful, unmatched views of Big Bear Lake. This out and back course makes it fun for all levels of competitors.

Kids Race
A fun race right in the Village of Big Bear Lake. Kids take a short loop where spectators, parents, friends and family have a great view for taking lots of photos and making lots of noise.

Live music, sponsor booths, raffles for all competitors, Paoli’s after race spaghetti special open to all competitors, friends and family alike.

It’s fun for the whole family. You won’t want to miss this annual event in Big Bear Lake.

We have been receiving significant rain and snow up here in the mountains and the storms over the next few days are only supposed to increase in intensity. Make sure you are prepared for lots of snow, cold weather, and other extreme conditions. Currently a large portion of town is without power, including our office.
