Making Snow

I find it pretty cool that Snow Summit is open for business already. I mean, it has been cold out but nothing that would remind you of snow. Yesterday was 60 out! The really have the concept of making snow down to a science. Will try to keep posted on the conditions at the mountain this winter, and hopefully will get to do a good bit of riding as well!

Current Snow Conditions from Snow Summit

Coverage / Depth - Fair to good on the open runs, please use caution near the run edges; 6-15 inches

Surface - Machine groomed hard pack that will soften and develop thin spots on heavy traffic areas

New Snow - No- snowmaking will resume as weather and conditions permit
